THE CITY IS YOURS!
This performance was the result of a 2-week residency at Grace Space in the lower east side of NYC. The project examined stories about the history of the neighborhood and presented data about some of the hopes, dreams, and fears of the people of NYC.
For the performance itself, The City Is Yours started with an unsanctioned parade through the streets to Tompkins Square Park. Of course Ratsy the unofficial mascot of NYC was there, and even Manhattan borough president of Gale Brewer dropped by to wish us well!
