A love letter to Los Angeles, written in data.
The city wants to hear what you love — and what would make this a better place to live, not just to visit. Your answers become open data that the city uses to plan real investments in neighborhoods like yours.

LA Loves
Kick It In The Park

June 11-July 19th, 2026

LA Loves is a bold new civic data project that focuses on collecting positive data about what people love and care about. Created in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Los Angeles, LA Loves is a month-long data collection celebration of what Angelenos love and will be featured across the city at the free, public Kick It In The Park celebrations for the World Cup!

The city wants to hear what you love — and what would make this a better place to live, not just to visit. Your answers become open data that the city uses to plan real investments in community celebrations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and neighborhoods like yours.

About the Kick It In the Park Program:
Kick It In the Park, a partnership between the Office of Mayor Karen Bass, Los Angeles Council Districts, and Los Angeles Recreation and Parks, ensures the World Cup reaches every corner of the city — from the San Fernando Valley to the Harbor, from Westside parks to East LA recreation centers.

With the support of City departments, including the Department of Cultural Affairs, these free, family-friendly events transform City of LA Parks sites into vibrant gathering spaces where Angelenos watch the matches on large LED screens surrounded by youth soccer clinics, neighborhood programming, and community resources. No ticket, no cost, no barriers.
