Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy: Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy (AFC) is a non-profit organization focused on preserving and restoring natural open spaces and wildlife habitats in the San Gabriel and Crescenta Valleys near Los Angeles, California, primarily by identifying and protecting vital wildlife corridors that connect isolated natural areas, allowing animals to move freely through the urban landscape; they also provide educational opportunities to the community about the importance of these ecosystems.

For Metro Art, in collaboration with ArtCenter and Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy, Data Vandals have created the exhibition “LA on the Move”! This year-long installation in the Union Station Waiting Room Gallery is a public exhibition that highlights the vital role urban wildlife plays in keeping the LA region’s ecosystem healthy.

The Union Station Waiting Room Gallery: Metro Art presents exhibitions in the Waiting Room Gallery that engage a broad range of transit patrons and visitors to Union Station. The program creates a memorable, dynamic environment for Metro customers and encourages the use of public transit. Exhibitions incorporate extensive advanced research and partnerships to highlight a variety of subjects with a connection to transportation, Union Station, and local creative communities.

Go Metro and see art along the way! Take the new A Line extension to Union Station to experience the exhibition and discover new station artworks at Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne/Fairplex, and Pomona North. Los Angeles Union Station is accessible via Metro Rail, Metro Bus, Metro Bike Share, Metrolink, Amtrak, and several municipal bus lines.
